PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreatment agent for pigment ink which prevents paper deformation after applying a pretreatment agent, increases an image density after applying ink, reduces bleed-through, and reduces an image blur.SOLUTION: A pretreatment agent for pigment ink includes inorganic particles, water, and non-polar solvent. The non-polar solvent of 2-20 mass% is contained with respect to a total amount of the pretreatment agent. |
