The invention relates to a method for making an electric energy storage assembly (1) including a cylindrical coil member (10) having a current collecting section at each end thereof, wherein the method comprises the step of radially coating at least one current collecting section at the end thereof from the centre to the periphery of the end of the collecting section. The invention also relates to a device for implementing said method and to a storage assembly obtained by said method.
