PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator capable of converting rotational motion into electric energy without requiring magnetic force.SOLUTION: In a power generator, an electromotive film 1 is used in which, on one surface of a base material film, a conductive layer is provided and a charging layer 16 which is charged when peeled from a contacted object is provided on the conductive layer, and charging bands 14 which are conductive to the charging layer are provided in a strip on the other surface at constant intervals. A pair of charging rotors 31 and 33, which are formed by winding the electromotive film 1 around a rotation core so that the charging layer 16 is arranged in the outside and the conductive bands 14 are arranged in the inside at intervals in a circumferential direction, are rotated in a reverse direction with the charging rotors 31 and 33 contacted with each other. Connection means 48 and 49 are fixed to the conductive bands 14 of rotating respective charging rotors 31 and 33 so as to achieve intermittent connection. One of the charging rotors 31 and 33 is connected to a positive electrode side of an external circuit through the connection means 48 and 49, and the other of the charging rotors 31 and 33 is connected to a negative electrode side of the external circuit through the connection means 48 and 49. |
