PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety of a worker during performance of inspection and safety during subsequent performance of a normal operation.SOLUTION: An elevator with an operation changing-over system performing changing-over to an inspection operation from a normal operation includes: a changing-over switch 4 which changes over between the normal operation and the inspection operation; an inspection operation device which is provided with an inspection operation switch 7 for changing over between an inspection side and a normal side, and which lifts or lowers a cage in the inspection operation when the inspection operation switch 7 is operated to the inspection side; and a safety controller 1 into which signals of the changing-over switch 4 and the inspection operation device are input, and which outputs a command signal of interruption of a brake power source 2 or interruption of a power source 3 so as to brake the cage. When the changing-over switch 4 is changed over to the inspection operation, the safety controller 1 disables the normal operation and enables the inspection operation. |
