PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply an optimum pressure to a treating part.SOLUTION: A first detection part 34 of a massage device 10 detects a pressure applied to a treating part by an actuator put on the treating part. A second detection part 36 detects pulse waves of the treating part. A first drive control part 64 executes control of transmitting first drive signals for increasing the pressure to be applied to the treating part to the actuator. On the basis of a change amount of an amplitude of the pulse waves with respect to the change of the pressure detected while the first drive signals are transmitted to the actuator, a setting part 60 sets the maximum pressure to be applied to the treating part, and also transmits a pressurization release signal for releasing pressurization to the treating part to the actuator. A second drive control part 65 executes control of transmitting second drive signals for repeating first pressurization of applying the pressure for detecting the set maximum pressure to the treating part and second pressurization of applying the pressure for detecting the pressure below the maximum pressure to the treating part to the actuator. |
