PURPOSE: An opening unit reinforcement material modeling system and a method thereof are provided to model double plates by automatically recognizing the shape of a hole or a notch. CONSTITUTION: A program for modeling the reinforcement material of a ship is executed, the hole or notch of the ship is determined (S520). A reference tag number of the hole or the notch is recognized, and the shape information of the hole or the notch is recognized based on the reference tag number (S540).
