PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a metal beverage can, in particular, a beverage can made of aluminum alloy, and to provide a metal beverage can formed by the method.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a metal beverage can is a method for forming an alloy sheet material 11 into a metal beverage can. A coiled material 1 to both surfaces of which a first lubricating oil is applied beforehand, is used for the alloy sheet material 11. When performing drawing of a cup-shaped stock from the alloy sheet material 11, in a step on and after the coiled material 1 is unwound and before a drawing step, a second lubricating oil is applied to the alloy sheet material 11 on only the side to be the outside of the metal beverage can. |
