PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive substance storage facility capable of efficiently cooling a radioactive substance storage container with a large heating value even when a radioactive substance storage container with a heating value larger than a heating value of a stored radioactive substance storage container is stored.SOLUTION: A radioactive substance storage facility 1 has a building 12 having an exhaust pipe 28 formed on a ceiling 34, and has a plurality of air supply ports formed on a pair of opposed sidewalls 21. In the radioactive substance storage facility 1, a plurality of partition walls 10 are installed from the sidewalls 21 toward a cask conveyance passage 9 in a direction intersecting with the sidewalls 21 on which the air supply ports are formed. A plurality of storage sections 4 are formed by these partition walls 10 in the radioactive storage facility 1, and a plurality of metal casks 2 are stored in these storage sections 4. Cooling air flowing from the air supply ports flows toward the cask conveyance passage 9 in each storage section 4 and cools the metal casks 2. |
