PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus allowing easy acquisition of information inherent in a received ultrasonic echo and not capable of being obtained from an ultrasonic image.SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, an ultrasonic image is generated from reception data by a plurality of ultrasonic transducers of an array transducer based on a prescribed set sound velocity, an optimum sound velocity is decided based on the ultrasonic images respectively generated by varying the prescribed set sound velocity, a diagnosing ultrasonic image G is generated based on the decided optimum sound velocity, a reception data image D1 representing a luminance image of an ultrasonic echo wave front is generated from the reception data corresponding to a prescribed range P1 on a scanning line S1 inside the ultrasonic image G, and the ultrasonic image G and the reception data image D1 are simultaneously displayed on a display part 8. |
