PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic program guide suitable to the conditions where the number of channels increases.SOLUTION: A program information acquisition unit 60 acquires information on programs broadcast in each of a plurality of channels. An apparatus information acquisition unit 444 acquires, from a tuner, limitation information indicating limits for channels that a user can view. A determination unit 449 determines in accordance with the limitation information whether each of the plurality of channels is either a viewing-unlimited channel, for which user viewing is not limited, or a viewing-limited channel, for which user viewing is limited. A program guide display unit 88 displays a program guide, into which the program information on the plurality of channels is integrated. In the program guide, the program information on the viewing-unlimited channels and the program information on the viewing-limited channels are displayed in differing modes. |
