PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve high voltage safety by safely disconnecting a power cable that connects a power conversion device and a motor at collision of an electric vehicle.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle includes: a case that stores a power conversion device that is disposed in a drive part accommodation chamber and transfers power between the power conversion device and a motor; and a power cable P that connects the power conversion device and the motor with electricity. The power cable P contains an electroconductive core wire 44 and a coating part 46 that is formed with the material whose elongation is larger than the core wire 44 and coats the periphery of the core wire 44. In the core wire 44, a core wire rupture schedule part 45 that breaks easily when the tensile force acts at the vehicle crash is installed in a case side, and in the coating 46, the coating rupture schedule part 47 that breaks easily when the tensile force acts is installed in a motor side. |
