PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal-modified aromatic polycarbonate resin expressing excellent water repellent properties.SOLUTION: A terminal-modified aromatic polycarbonate resin is obtained by reacting a bisphenol compound, a carbonate ester forming compound, and a terminal stopper consisting of a fluoroalkenyl derivative expressed by a general formula (2). (In the formula, Rand Rexpress respectively independently a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom, a 1-5C alkyl group which may have substitution groups, and the substitution groups which may bind with the carbons of these groups are halogen atoms. R-Rare 1-10C alkyl groups having substitution groups.
