The holding clip (1) has crushable support sections which are adapted to engage behind a retaining portions (4) in the second opening in second component such as outer structure of vehicle interior panel. The retaining sections are joined to the portion (6) proximal to plate-shaped locking portion (3), and portion (5) distal to locking portion. The retaining portions are designed as parabolic cross sections.
