摘要 <p>Provided is a battery balancing system in which the scale of a balancing circuit is prevented from increasing even when the number of batteries connected in series and included in an assembled battery increases. A battery monitoring unit (108), a converter balancing circuit (107), and the switching control mechanism of the converter balancing circuit (107) are modularized on a high voltage board (104) for each stack (103). A transformer balancing circuit (105) for balancing the voltages between the stacks (103) and a switching control CPU (115) for performing a switching control on the transformer balancing circuit (105) are disposed on the high voltage board. In contrast, a main control CPU (116) for totally controlling the balancing is disposed on a low voltage board (106). Mutual communication is possible between the low voltage board side and the high voltage board side through insulating elements (118, 119, 120) for maintaining electrical power insulation. Modularizing a direct control system for a balancing control on the high voltage board and disposing the main control CPU on the low voltage board make it possible to easily cope with, for example, the increase of the number of batteries connected in series.</p>
