PURPOSE: A terminal debug serial access security method is provided to prevent other people from connecting to a terminal through a serial port. CONSTITUTION: A login process is executed by receiving a login signal through a serial port of an embedded system terminal (S601). A key value is transmitted through the serial port (S602). When a return value for the key value is not received during the time determined by the serial port, the user is disconnected (S603). The key value is generated by using a password key inputted by the data input unit of the embedded system terminal. The return value is converted by converting the key value with a predetermined rule.
