PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothing presser for a sewing machine, which can secure safety of fingers of an operator and easily guide a yarn during operation of a sawing machine, and especially prevents a student from having an accident (a needlestick on a finger tip) in a sawing machine training or the like at school.SOLUTION: A clothing presser for a sewing machine comprises a presser body A, and a guard member B including: an attaching part 3 for installation to a presser body A; a support part 4 projecting toward a front side of the presser body A; a guard part 5 provided from a left end through a right end of the presser body on an operator side facing a needle 8 above the presser body A so as to prevent a foreign matter from entering the periphery of the needle 8 vertically moving; and a yarn guiding part 7 bent from the guard part 5 toward a back side of the presser body A and having a guide part 6 guiding a yarn following the outer periphery in a tip thereof. In the presser body A, formed are a mounting part for mounting the attaching part 3 of the guard member B, and an engaging part 26 for engaging and fixing the guard member B. |
