PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a function of improving conveying force and peeling force for a label continuous body and a function of enabling the visual determination of a limit on wear amount, in the same configuration.SOLUTION: In a platen roller formed by covering the peripheral surface of a core metal 28 with a columnar elastic body 23, the elastic body 23 includes: an inner layer 23A from the surface of which many projections 30 project, each projection 30 having a top end part 30A and a root part 30B that are different from each other in cross-sectional shape; and an outer layer 23B provided outside the inner layer 23A and covering the entire inner layer 23A to expose the top end parts 30A. The height of the top end parts 30A is set to match a limit on the wear amount of the elastic body 23. |
