PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch circuit that implements a low switching loss in a compact configuration and with a satisfactory withstanding voltage characteristic.SOLUTION: The switch circuit includes: an LDMOS 2 used as a switching element and having a gate electrode G as an input side electrode for an on/off control signal to control on/off a current path between a source electrode S and a drain electrode D; a voltage detection circuit 3 for detecting a voltage of at least either of the source electrode S and the drain electrode D as a voltage detection value; and a voltage generation circuit 4 for receiving the on/off control signal and the voltage detection value, converting a voltage of the on/off control signal such that a voltage difference between the gate electrode G and the source electrode S becomes a voltage not higher than a withstanding voltage value of the LDMOS 2 between the gate electrode G and the source electrode S on the basis of the voltage detection value and the on/off control signal, and applying the converted on/off control signal to the gate electrode G. |
