PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestrian crossing support device, a computer program and a pedestrian crossing support method, which provide information for supporting the crossing of a pedestrian who crosses a road.SOLUTION: A communication unit 11 acquires vehicle information including the speeds and passing times of plural vehicles passing through a predetermined point of a road upstream from a crossing candidate area. A gap time zone calculation unit 13 calculates, on the basis of the vehicle information acquired by the communication unit 11, a difference in passing time between a vehicle (preceding vehicle) and a following vehicle which runs following the preceding vehicle as a crossing possible time zone. An information provision unit 17 provides support information on the crossing possible time zone calculated by the gap time zone calculation unit 13. |
