PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side rail device of which the folded height can be reduced even if intervals of support members are narrowed.SOLUTION: A side rail device includes: a lower lateral member 6 provided on a width-direction side of a bed body 1 along a longitudinal direction; a plurality of strut members 7 connected turnably at the lower end to the lower lateral member at prescribed intervals; upper lateral member 9 turnably connected to the upper end of the plurality of strut members; and a stopper mechanism 11 holding the plurality of strut members in a manner not trunable relative to the upper lateral member when the strut members are made to stand up, and releasing with the operation, the holding state of the strut members to fold down in the rotating direction. The strut members have a triangular cross-section, wherein the adjacent strut members are made each one side faced in parallel and arranged in one line, with the center of the cross-section situated on one straight line to the rotating direction. |
