PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connection member which connects a light receiving/emitting element and a plurality of optical waveguide parts such as a multi-core fiber, and which includes a connection structure to a substrate.SOLUTION: An optical connection member 3 includes: a light receiving/emitting element 10 in which a plurality of light receiving/emitting parts 10a to 10g are arrayed in a two-dimensional shape; a first connector 20 which has the light receiving/emitting element 10 mounted on the front end face 20a, and which has a multi-core fiber 22 in which a plurality of cores 22a to 22g are arrayed in such a manner that, in the front end face 20a, they correspond to the light receiving/emitting parts 10a to 10g of the light receiving/emitting element 10 that are arrayed in a two-dimensional shape; and a second connector 30 which has a plurality of single core fibers 32 having an array that corresponds to the plurality of cores 22a to 22g of the multi-core fiber 22 which exposes at a rear end face 20b of the first connector 20 and one end of which exposes, and in which each of the cores 22a to 22g of the multi-core fiber 22 and the plurality of single core fibers 32 are optically connected. |
