PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and a sense of beauty when mounting a shielding mechanism.SOLUTION: A sunroof apparatus includes: a movable panel 5; an opening/closing mechanism that opens and closes the movable panel 5; and a shielding mechanism 110 that is installed inside the vehicle width direction of the opening/closing mechanism and shields the opening/closing mechanism from inside of a vehicle compartment. The opening/closing mechanism is composed to tilt the movable panel 5 between a fully closed state in which the opening is shut and a tilt state by tilting the connecting member by a slider 9 moving inside the guide rail. Upper side and lower side plates 111 and 112 of the opening/closing mechanism are installed in the movable panel 5, and not installed in a roof 10, and are composed to spread according to tilting of the movable panel 5 by the slider 9 engaging to the lower plate 112, when the movable panel 5 is tilting to a tilt state, while overlapping mutually when the movable panel 5 is in the fully closed state. |
