PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device for a shading device, capable of deceleration in a plurality of stages by one brake device.SOLUTION: A brake device 40 includes: a brake case 42 to be rotated integrally with a take-up pipe 16; a first support shaft 44 and a second support shaft 46 which are relatively rotatable with the brake case 42; and a first blade material 48 provided on the first support shaft and a second blade material 50 provided on the second support shaft 46. The first blade material 48 and the second blade material 50 are switchable between a first state that their positions are separated from each other and a second state that they overlap with each other, and by the relative rotation of the first blade material 48 and the second blade material 50 in the first state and the brake case and the relative rotation of the first blade material 48 and the second blade material 50 in the second state and the brake case, brake force when winding a screen 18 is changed. |
