A pharmaceutical composition contains coxsackie virus type-A11 with which a cancer cell can be infected or echo virus type-4 with which a cancer cell can be infected. A capsid may be removed from the coxsackie virus type-A11 or the echo virus type-4. The pharmaceutical composition has potent cytotoxicity against a cell of a cancer selected from the group consisting of small cell lung cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, squamous cell carcinoma, malignant mesothelioma, large intestine cancer, colorectal cancer, esophageal cancer, hypopharyngeal cancer, human B lymphoma, breast cancer, cervical cancer and pancreatic cancer, which is a cancer cell of a solid cancer. |
