The present invention pertains to a vehicle drive device comprising an input member, a friction engaging device, a rotating electric instrument, and a shifting device. The vehicle drive device comprises a housing (2a) having a peripheral wall (21) and a support wall (22), a hydraulic control device fixed to the housing, an oil supply channel formed in the support wall (22), and a rotation sensor. A first wiring member from a stator is connected to a first terminal of a terminal base provided to a first through-hole (15) of the peripheral wall (21). A second wiring member (75) extending through a second through-hole (16) of the peripheral wall (21) into the housing (2a) is fixed to an area (N) where the oil passage is not formed in the support wall (22), and the second wiring member comprises a first connecting wiring part (76) and a second connecting wiring part (77). The first connecting wiring part (76) is connected to a second terminal (54) of the rotation sensor, and the second connecting wiring part (77) is connected to a third terminal (59) of the hydraulic control device. |
