PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that can prevent the progress of cracks caused on a tread face to a sidewall while effectively enhancing on-snow traction performance by salient parts formed on the surface of a buttress part.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire comprises: a tread 1; a pair of sidewalls 2 extending to the inside of a tire radial direction continuous from the tread 1; and a pair of beads continuous to the inside of the tire radial direction of each sidewall 2. Salient parts 5, 6 which extend toward a tread end E from the side of the sidewall 2 and is terminated immediately before reaching the tread end E are formed on the surface 4 of a buttress part arranged between the tread end E of a tread face 3 formed at the tread 1 and a point reaching the sidewall 2. |
