PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IPS system liquid crystal display device in which metal at a terminal is prevented from corroding because of a flaw generated at the terminal by conductive particles.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a terminal in which a first insulator film 102 and a second insulator film 106 are formed on a terminal metal 1012, a contact holes 121 are formed in the first insulator film 102 and the second insulator film 106, and a first ITO 1081 is formed on the contact hole 121 and the second insulator film 106. The liquid crystal display device is connected to another circuit through an ASC having conductive particles 170. The liquid crystal display device has an area where a second ITO 1101 is laminated on the first insulator film 102 and inside the contact hole 121, and the first ITO 1081 is laminated on the second ITO 1101. When the diameter of the conductive particles 170 is d, the width s of a portion where the terminal metal 1012 and the first ITO 1081 are in contact with each other in the contact hole 121 satisfies s<d. |
