PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a polymer with narrow molecular weight distribution by suppressing side reactions in a production method for continuously polymerizing a cationic polymerizable monomer.SOLUTION: A method for producing a polymer includes: performing polymerization of a cationic polymerizable monomer by continuously supplying a solution (A) containing a polymerization initiator, a first cationic polymerizable monomer mainly composed of isobutylene, a first electron donating agent and a polymerization solvent, and a solution (B) containing a Lewis acid catalyst, a second electronic donating agent and a polymerization solvent to a first mixing unit; and successively supplying them to a first reaction unit connected to the mixing unit. |
