PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature detection device of toroidal type continuous variable transmission capable of improving estimation accuracy of an actual temperature on a face pushed against each disk of surfaces of a power roller.SOLUTION: A temperature detection device of a toroidal type continuous variable transmission is configured so as to estimate the temperature at a contact point between each disk and a power roller by using a temperature on a rolling surface detected by a temperature sensor which is caused to contact with the rolling surface as the face to be pushed against each disk of surfaces of the power roller clamped between an input disk and an output disk, and is provided with a means (step S1 or step S8) which corrects a temperature detected by the temperature sensor on the basis of at least a pressure between the rolling surface and the temperature sensor, a temperature of oil to be supplied to the contact point and a rotation speed of the power roller. |
