PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire 1 capable of suppressing rolling resistance and wear in a shoulder part.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes a tread 2 having an outer surface functioning as a tread surface 7, a sidewall 3, a carcass 5 along the inside of the tread 2 and the sidewall 3, and a belt 6 laminated on the carcass. Distribution Tg(y) of a tread thickness in a region from a crown center 17 and extending in the axially outward direction of the tire is represented by a formula of Tg(y)=A-a×Ct(y). In the formula, (A) represents a tread thickness at the tread crown center; Ct(y) represents distribution of displacement of the tread surface in the radially inward direction of the tire, in a region from the tread crown center to the end of the belt; and (a) is a coefficient selected from a range from 0.10 to 0.35. Displacement Cc(y) of the carcass 5 in the radially inward direction of the tire, in a region extending in an axially outward direction of the tire from a position corresponding to the crown center 17, is represented by a formula of Cc(y)=(1-a)×Ct(y). |
