A television is provided with: first to fourth keyword candidate acquisition units (227-230) that acquire multiple keyword candidates in conformance with mutually different first to fourth algorithms; a keyword setting unit (231) that displays a keyword list containing the multiple acquired keyword candidates, and sets a keyword candidate selected by input specification as a search keyword; and a search range setting unit (232) that displays a search range list indicating multiple mutually different search ranges, and as the search range for a search using the search keyword, sets a search range selected by input specification.
