<p>The method involves acquiring reference pattern (10) for complete viewable object (1) in vicinity of motor vehicle. The image area (2) of 2D image (3) with respect to viewable object is acquired by camera mounted in motor vehicle. The image area of 2D image is compared with the comparison pattern (4) which includes several classified image areas (6) of reference pattern, so as to detect the visible object on image area of 2D image. An independent claim is included for a device for detecting visible object on image area.</p> |
