PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a best route from a plurality of transfer routes from a source to a destination in a multi-hop relay network.SOLUTION: When a transmission message from a source node to a destination node is generated (S502), a calculation is started with a node in a first relay stage assumed to be a route metric calculation node (S504). The route metric calculation node: receives a route metric concerning an arrival route from the source node (S506); determines a maximum route metric concerning the route for the object node (S508); and transmits the route metric to a plurality of nodes in a next relay stage (S510). The node in the next relay stage is assumed to be the route metric calculation node(S512), steps (S506) to (S510) are repeated until the calculation reaches a destination node, and the route having the maximum route metric is determined (S514). A message is transmitted through the obtained route (S516). |
