摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a measurement error when obtaining a conveyance error by a medium conveying roller.SOLUTION: A conveyance error measurement method for a conveying roller is intended for use in a liquid jetting device including the conveying roller for conveying a medium in a conveying direction and a nozzle line in which a plurality of nozzles for jetting the liquid are arranged in the conveying direction. The conveyance error measurement method includes (A) a forming step of performing a pattern forming operation which includes a forming step of forming a first pattern on a medium with a nozzle at an upstream side in a conveying direction of the nozzle line, a step of rotating the conveying roller by a 1/N (N is an integer) angle and conveying the medium in the conveying direction, and a step of forming a second pattern on the medium with a nozzle at a downstream side in a conveying direction of the nozzle line, (B) a measuring step of obtaining a measurement value of a distance between the first pattern and the second pattern, and (C) a step of calculating a conveying amount error during rotation by the 1/N angle by comparing the measurement value with a theoretical conveying amount when rotating the conveying roller by the 1/N angle.
