PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress delay due to image correction processing by determining whether image correction is necessary, and switching the on or off of image processing.SOLUTION: Image processing apparatuses (10 and 20) comprise: an image acquisition unit 121 which acquires an image of an imaging target formed with an imaging lens; a face detection unit 221 which detects face information from the image acquired by the image acquisition unit; an image angle-of-view calculation unit 222 which calculates the angle of view of a face information including section including the face information detected by the face detection unit; and a correction necessity determination unit 223 which, on the basis of the angle of view calculated by the image angle-of-view calculation unit and the distortion properties of the imaging lens, determines whether distortion aberration correction on the image is necessary or not. |
