PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a variation in communication quality between an information terminal and an on-vehicle device when an application is executed by the information terminal by coordinating the portable type information terminal and the on-vehicle device.SOLUTION: In a portable terminal 2, an application manager 201 includes a sub-application Ma and a sub-application Ms. The sub-application Ma has a launcher function to call out another application and to make a control unit of the portable terminal 2 execute it in the foreground, and the sub-application Ms has a communication function to make the control unit of the portable terminal 2 execute communication processing to transmit and receive information between the portable terminal 2 and an on-vehicle device. The control unit of the portable terminal 2 executes the sub-application Ma in the foreground and also executes the sub-application Ms in the background.
