An electric energy meter capturer; a linkage rod (2) is arranged inside the handle (13) of the meter capturer, one end of the linkage rod (2) is connected with a clamping fixture (4), and the upper part of the linkage rod (2) is provided with a reset spring (3); a meter capturer sliding track (11) is provided on the lower part of the linkage rod (2); a counter activation connecting point (12) is provided on the linkage rod (2); one end of a clamping fixture support spring (10) is connected to the clamping fixture (4); the other end of the clamping fixture support spring (10) is connected to the inner wall of the meter capturer housing. The handle (13) of the meter capturer is provided with a barcode scanner activation button (7) and a data collection recorder activation button (15). A barcode scanner (6) and an infrared meter data collection recorder (14) are provided at the bottom of the meter capturer housing (1); the meter data collection recorder (14) is connected to the meter data collection recorder activation button (15). The meter capturer integrates the functions of opening and reading the meter, scanning the meter barcode, mounting the meter, mounting and detecting and recording the meter data, and recording the quantity of meter captured, and also has the advantages of simplified operation and high operation efficiency.
