Abstract Indoor laser tag is a team or individual sport or recreational activity where players attempt to score points by tagging targets, typically with a hand-held infrared-emitting targeting device and where infrared-sensitive targets are commonly worn by each player and are sometimes integrated within the arena in which the game is played. In some instances a membership or loyalty system is used for tracking player data and performance in game so that a player's statistics are retained against their unique identification (UID). QR codes, which stands for Quick Response Code, and NFC, which stands for Near Field Communication, are examples of how player's identification may be referenced to a stored UID electronically. |
