PURPOSE: A cathode slurry is provided to improve the total energy density of a battery and not to contribute as a resistance element by containing a binder exhibiting high electrode adhesive strength. CONSTITUTION: A cathode slurry is a cathode active material and is produced by mixing cathode materials including a manganese oxide having a spinel structure represented by a chemical formula Li_xM_yMn_(2-y)O_(4-z)A_z, a conductive agent, and a binder with organic solvents. One or more than two kinds are selected from the group of ethyl cellulose, methyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, and acrylic copolymer for the binder. Here, it is 0<=x<=0.1: 0<=y<=0.5: 0<=z<=0.2. M is a transition metal cation with +2 oxidation number. A is an anion with -1 or -2 oxidation number. |
