PURPOSE: A battery is provided to be able to suppress the entry of a lead portion into the electrode inside even when the lead portion is deformed by an external impact. CONSTITUTION: A battery (10) comprises an electrode inside (20) in which one end of a winding body formed by winding a laminate including a positive electrode plate, a separator and a negative electrode plate is used as a cathode side, and the other end is used as an anode side; a lead portion (32) which is arranged at the position overlapping with the cathode side or the anode side, and connected to the positive electrode plate or the negative electrode plate; and a case member which contains the electrode inside and the lead portion, and has a side edge facing at least the end side of the electrode inside. The case member has a weak portion (51) in which the rigidity is weaker than in other part of the case member at a position not overlapping at least the lead portion of the side edge. |
