PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal block mounting method for mounting a thin terminal block in a lighting apparatus. SOLUTION: A terminal block 100 comprises: a protrusion 1-8a formed on a first lateral face 111; and a protrusion 1-8b formed on a second lateral face 112. A lighting apparatus 600 comprises: a mounting rib 6-3a through which the protrusion 1-8a can be inserted; a mounting rib 6-3b through which the protrusion 1-8b can be inserted; and a locking part 6-2 which prevents the detachment of the protrusion 1-8a inserted through the mounting rib 6-3a and the detachment of the protrusion 1-8b inserted through the mounting rib 6-3b. According to a terminal block mounting method for mounting the terminal block 100 in the lighting apparatus 600, the protrusion 1-8a of the terminal block 100 is inserted through the mounting rib 6-3a of the lighting apparatus 600 and the protrusion 1-8b of the terminal block 100 is inserted through the mounting rib 6-3b of the lighting apparatus 600 so that the locking part 6-2 of the lighting apparatus 600 prevents the detachment of the protrusion 1-8a and the detachment of the protrusion 1-8b.
