<p>Solid medicament preparation (A), comprises flupirtine or its salts as an active agent, and optionally an auxiliary material to uniformly release flupirtine, where (A) exhibits delayed release of the active agent, which is compact and covered uniformly with a retard component; and the compact active agent exhibits a particle size of 160-800 mu m, preferably 250-500 mu m and is in spherical or approximately spherical form. Independent claims are included for: (1) a compact active agent comprising flupirtine, in spherical or approximately spherical form, with a particle size of 160-800 mu m, preferably 250-500 mu m; and (2) a procedure to prepare a medicament preparation comprising compactifying a compact active agent such as flupirtine optionally with the auxiliary material, separating the compact active agent and covering the separated compact active agent with the retard component. - ACTIVITY : Analgesic. - MECHANISM OF ACTION : N-Methyl-D-aspartate receptor antagonist.</p> |
