A needle threading device (10) is disclosed which comprises a first mechanism (34) having a hole (34c) for receiving a needle (70) and a slit (34e) for receiving a thread (72), a second mechanism (42) having a threader pin (48b) and pivotally supported by the first mechanism (34) so as to be pivotable between a first position and a second position different from the first position, the threader pin (48b) enabling the thread (72) to pass through an eye (70a) of the needle (70) when the second mechanism (42) is pivoted to the second position from the first position, a first biasing member (50) urging the second mechanism (42) to the first position, an operating member (54) causing the second mechanism (42) to be pivoted to the second position against an action of the first biasing member (50), and a second biasing member (56) urging the operating member (54) and the second mechanism (42) in a direction in which they are spaced away from each other.
