PURPOSE: An electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction, a fuel cell comprising the same, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve efficiency of oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), and to produce an electrocatalyst not containing platinum. CONSTITUTION: An electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction comprises silver/silver halide composite. The silver halide is combined to the surface and inside of nanosilver material by a spontaneous reduction reaction. A fuel cell comprises the electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction. A manufacturing method of the electrocatalyst comprises the steps of: forming nanosilver material; and combining silver halide to the nanosilver material.
