PURPOSE: A unit modular structure for building extension and a connection method thereof are provided to increase strength and to facilitate the installation of members by obtaining a work space for connecting the members. CONSTITUTION: A unit modular structure (10) for building extension comprises columns (100), beams (200), and connection parts (300). The columns are made of C-shaped steel. The beams are connected to the top and the bottom of the columns and are made of the C-shaped steel. The connection parts have end plates so that the beams can be directly connected to the columns.
