PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for extracting inclusion-mixed slabs are provided to prevent surface defects of slabs by controlling the number of scarfing work. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for extracting inclusion-mixed slabs comprises a stopper, a flow control part, a pressure part, and a central processing part. The flow control part controls and supplies the amount of argon gas to a head of the stopper through an argon gas injection path. The pressure part measures the back pressure of the argon gas in real time(S20). The central processing part detects whether or not an inclusion is detached through the variation of the back pressure(S30), and calculates the position of the inclusion-mixed slabs with a main velocity in order to extract the slabs(S40).
