PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling acceleration and deceleration of a movable part of an injection molding machine, capable of changing an acceleration in response to a position of a motor, to control the acceleration and deceleration, during movement by one moving command. SOLUTION: The movable part of the injection molding machine is driven by the motor. The accelerations (a(0), a(1), a(2)) are set preliminarily as acceleration patterns into a controller, corresponding to positions (0-P(0), P(0)-P(1), P(1) or more) of the motor during the movement up to a target position by the moving command. A speed of the movable part of the injection molding machine is controlled by controlling the acceleration and deceleration by changing the acceleration in response to the position of the motor, based on the acceleration pattern, during driving of the motor, and by controlling the speed thereby.
