The invention relates to a chassis sensor (1) of a motor vehicle (10) comprising a housing wherein a power supply unit (22), a first control unit (24) having a bus-compatible interface and a three-axis acceleration sensor (26) are arranged. The housing additionally has a device by means of which the chassis sensor can be fastened to a component of a wheel suspension of the motor vehicle. A chassis sensor assembly of a motor vehicle according to the invention comprises at least two chassis sensors (1) and a damper control of the motor vehicle. The invention further relates to a control method of a motor vehicle using a corresponding chassis sensor assembly.
