PURPOSE: A card detection switch device of a card connector is provided to remove foreign substances attached to a switch terminal, by enabling a connection terminal piece to move from the friction contact state with protruded parts of each switch terminal under the contact with a first and a second switch terminal. CONSTITUTION: A first switch terminal (51) is protruded into a space part (A) of a card from the bottom of an insulation body (20). A second switch terminal (53) is adjacent to the first switch terminal. The second switch terminal is protruded into the space part of the card from the bottom of the insulation body. A connection terminal piece (55) is comprised in the bottom of a slider (41). The connection terminal piece connects the first and the second switch terminal with each other electrically as being friction-touched with the first and the second switch terminal at the same time at a card insertion position. |
