PURPOSE: A position confirmation system for a tire is provided to automatically sense the position of a tire without the control of a driver or a user. CONSTITUTION: A position confirmation system for a tire comprises four sensor modules (113, 123, 133, 143), a control module (150), and a storage module (160). The sensor modules are installed on the tires (110, 120, 130, 140) of a vehicle (100) and comprises of angular velocity sensors (111, 121, 131, 141) and transmission parts (112, 122, 132, 142). The angular velocity sensors sense the angular velocity and output the sensed data. The transmission parts transmit the sensed data and the identification number to the outside. The control module confirms the positions of the tires by receiving the sensed data and the identification number from the transmission parts.
